The North Carolina Azalea Festival Street Fair will be held from April 12th-14th, 2013.
CBHR will only attend on Saturday, April 13.
It is a free, family event with over 200 arts and craft vendors, 40 food vendors, 4 stages, a children's area and a whole lot of fun! The Street Fair is located in downtown Wilmington on Water, Front, and Market Street.
The fun starts on Friday night with the Main Stage and Riverfront Park Stage entertaining the crowds and food vendors filling the air with scrumptious smells. The fun continues on Saturday and Sunday.
The arts and craft booths cover the entire stretch of the Street Fair and there is something for everyone. There will be old favorites like face painting, jewelry (made from sea glass to antique buttons), t-shirts, and photography but there will also be new vendors offering wine, hot sauces, candles, and local honey.
The food vendors will have the staples- funnel cakes, fresh made lemonade, gyros, kettle corn and ice cream but if you're looking for something more adventurous; a deep fried Oreo or an eight pound gummy bear will be sure to hit the spot!
